HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — Two drivers were arrested Friday night after one of them lost control while racing and crashed into an innocent driver, according to the Harris County Pct. 5 Constable’s Office.
The constable’s office said the drivers were racing near the intersection of Westheimer Road and S. Gessner Road.
As the deputy started to chase after them, one of them reportedly lost control of their car and swerved into oncoming traffic, hitting an innocent driver who was stopped at a red light.
After the crash, the deputy managed to stop both of the cars that were reportedly racing. Both drivers were booked into the Harris County Jail on a racing charge.
