Last weekend, the Miami Grand Prix brought all the drivers stateside for the first time in the 2025 season, and on top of some adrenaline packed racing, fans got treated to some unexpected surprises.
One almost feels spoiled from all the fun F1 content the past week has brought. From all the drivers embracing their inner child to race one other in life–sized cars made out of Lego’s to Max Verstappen announcing the birth of his daughter to Lewis Hamilton co-chairing the Met Gala (and, of course, looking perfect) to Netflix releasing a documentary on Kimi Antonelli, there’s been tons of F1 news.
But will that continue into this weekend? Will there be another Grand Prix or is it time for a break? Read on to see.
Is there a F1 race this weekend?
Alas, sadly there is no Grand Prix this weekend.
Fans will just have to cherish the Miami Grand Prix and all the fun moments until the next one, which will be the Italian Grand Prix.

When will the next Grand Prix be?
The next Grand Prix will be in Emilia-Romagna from May 16-18. The official race will occur on Sunday, May 18.
The race will begin at 6 a.m. PT / 9 a.m. ET. Locally, it will start at 3 p.m. in Italy.

Who is leading in the drivers standings?
The Miami Grand Prix allowed two drivers to cross the threshold of 100 points. Although the top drivers haven’t moved positions in a few races, some of the drivers ranked in the mid-teens gained and lost places after Miami.
After claiming his fourth win of the season in Miami, Oscar Piastri has extended his lead over the pack — including teammate Lando Norris — to the largest it’s been yet. But he’s still in catching grasp for plenty of the drivers.
