A 30-year-old man was arrested in Thessaloniki after police discovered 110 grams of cannabis hidden in the engine compartment of his car, authorities said.
The suspect, a foreign national, was also found in possession of a counterfeit €50 banknote, according to a police statement.
The arrest was part of a broader law enforcement operation conducted over the past week in the northern port city, during which authorities made 55 drug-related arrests.
During the crackdown, police seized various quantities of cannabis, heroin, cocaine, and illegal pharmaceutical tablets. The operation involved officers from narcotics and rapid response units.
