Denny Hamlin saw his race come to a fiery end on Sunday at Texas Motor Speedway.
Late in Stage 1 of the Wurth 400, Hamlin, whose No. 11 Toyota was down on power, spun in turn 1 as flames shot out of his car. As oil poured out of his exhaust pipes, fire sprouted around the bottom of Hamlin’s car for a few seconds before it came to a stop.
