Rabat – In a significant milestone for Morocco’s automotive industry, Neo Motors, based in Rabat, has delivered its first batch of vehicles to the Royal Armed Forces (FAR).
The company’s founder and CEO, Nassim Belkhayat, made the announcement yesterday, noting that the “delivery symbolizes a strong commitment to seeing our national industry upheld by the excellence and trust of our elite Royal Armed Forces, guarantors of our country’s security and sovereignty.”
The company’s journey gained royal recognition when King Mohammed VI received the Neo Motors team on May 15, 2023, offering crucial support for the newcomer automotive venture.
Nassim Belkhayat noted that “this royal endorsement has strengthened the company’s resolve to build a robust Moroccan automotive industry.”
The selection of Neo Motors by the FAR as their first local automotive supplier represents a significant vote of confidence in domestic manufacturing capabilities.
The CEO expressed profound gratitude toward the armed forces for their trust, describing it as “a strong signal sent to the entire national industrial ecosystem.”
Belkhayat reaffirms Neo Motors’ commitment to creating a sustainable and ambitious Moroccan automotive industry.

Domestically made with the minds and hands of Moroccan talents, Neo Motors started selling their cars in December of 2023.
Their cars seamlessly blend performance, safety features, and eco-friendliness, paving the way for a future lineup that includes electric vehicles and solidifying Neo Motors’ commitment to innovation and sustainable mobility solutions.
The delivery marks a significant step in Morocco’s automotive industry, and Moroccans on social media have commented asking for the Neo Motors’ cars to be generalized to other public and security services.
