The Spears CARS Tour West Championship Weekend scheduled for Saturday at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway has been postponed due to weather concerns.
Due to unfavorable weather forecasts for the weekend, track and series officials determined there was no reasonable opportunity to complete the full race program safely and effectively. In the best interest of race fans, competitors and teams, the event has been rescheduled for Dec. 20, and additional event details will follow, according to a news release sent Wednesday.

“Unfortunately, the weather forecast has turned to show rain throughout the weekend, leaving no choice but to postpone,” said Tim Huddleston, co-owner of Kern Raceway and CARS Tour West. “This isn’t a decision we take lightly, but it’s simply the reality of the situation. Rescheduling allows us to give fans and teams the full championship experience they deserve on Dec. 20.”
Competitors who registered through Pit Pay will have their entries automatically rolled over to the new date and no re-registration will be required.
The Dec. 20 event will now serve as the season finale and championship round for the Spears CARS Tour West, featuring the Pro Late Model and Limited Pro Late Model series, along with the MMI Legends Tour West.
Following the on-track action, the CARS Tour West championship awards banquet will take place at Kern Raceway, recognizing and celebrating the 2025 champions across all divisions.
